Meet the Founders

Jeff Doran has been immersed in earthmoving and heavy equipment operations for as long as he can remember. In 2011, he took on a key role in the construction of Killington, Vermont’s new Peak Lodge—his first experience managing a large-scale construction project. From there, he honed his expertise in snowmaking installation, bike trail development, and mountain excavation across the East Coast. After relocating to Park City, Utah, in 2017, Jeff contributed to major projects at Snowbasin, Wasatch Peaks Ranch, and Woodward Park City. As a co-founder of SLOPEWORX™, he has played a pivotal role in completing complex projects at Eagle Point, Park City Mountain Resort, and beyond, bringing a wealth of operational and management experience to the team.

With a career in heavy construction dating back to the late 1990s, Dan Anctil built his expertise from the ground up. While putting himself through college, he gained hands-on experience managing job sites, operating heavy equipment, and overseeing projects from start to finish. In 2008, he earned a degree in Business Administration, equipping him with the skills to transition from fieldwork to business ownership. Beyond construction, Dan is also deeply involved in motorsports, serving as Director of Motorsports for Vermont SportsCar/Subaru Motorsports USA and leading teams in national and international competition. His connections in the action sports world have given SLOPEWORX™ a unique edge, securing projects like Monticello Motorsport Park, various rallycross track builds, and overseeing the production of many specialized projects. Recognizing an opportunity to bring specialized expertise to mountain excavation, Dan co-founded SLOPEWORX™ alongside Jeff Doran and Brandon Pierzga, helping shape the company’s reputation for excellence in challenging terrain.

Brandon Pierzga’s career in excavation began with major construction firms, but his passion for mountain environments led him to specialize in ski industry projects. With extensive experience operating heavy machinery and managing rugged terrain, he contributed to high-profile projects such as the Golden Peak expansion at Vail, as well as developments at Copper Mountain, Powder Horn, Killington, and Wasatch Peaks Ranch. Through these projects, he met Dan Anctil and later reconnected with Jeff Doran, recognizing a shared vision for specialized mountain construction. Together, they founded SLOPEWORX™, combining their expertise to meet the demands of complex excavation projects. Today, Brandon applies more than 15 years of industry experience to help drive the company’s success, ensuring each project is executed with precision and innovation.
